NDIS Assistance
Making the Most of Your NDIS Assistance: What You Need To Know
If you or a loved one have a significant, permanent disability, you may be able to get NDIS assistance. The NDIS system can be tough to navigate on your own, especially if you're new to the process of receiving NDIS assistance.

If you're deemed eligible to receive NDIS support, you'll receive money each year to help you with the services you need to thrive. It will be up to you to decide whether you'd like to manage your NDIS funds on your own, or if you'd like the NDIA to provide Support Coordination within your plan to assist you in managing your funds. You'll need to recertify your eligibility each year, and your funding amount may increase or decrease depending on your circumstances.

Your NDIS funding can be used toward many different services that can improve your quality of life. Some people who receive NDIS use their funds toward living arrangements or home modifications that make it easier for them to get around and live a productive day-to-day life. Others use their NDIS funds to pay for therapies that make it easier for them to perform their daily life activities. Some people use their NDIS funds to cover activities that allow them to engage with the community, helping them to develop a social network that provides support when life gets hard.
If you're thinking about applying for NDIS support, be sure to consider your goals, as you'll need to outline them before you are approved to receive funds. Don't want to think about how you want to move forward in life. Use the NDIS funds that you deserve to help you achieve your goals.
